Friday night is a special night featuring performances from Dan James and other amazing horsemen and women. They will come together to showcase a night full of history, rich cultures, and heritage. This is a ticketed event.

Saturday night is the final conclusion to the Mustang Magic competition - these competitors and their mustangs were paired up 100 days prior, and have competed all weekend in a series of classes for a chance to participate in the Top 10 Finals. The top 10 highest scoring mustangs and riders qualified to compete in Saturday nights ticketed event. These talented pairs will perform unique freestyles for a chance to become this years Mustang Magic Champion. You will need a separate ticket for this event.

Yes and we hope you do! Throughout the event, you will have the opportunity to visit with the trainers about their mustangs during Meet the Mustangs socials. You can also see all the mustangs in the stalls and while they are competing. The only time you need a ticket is Saturday for the Top 10 Finals.

At the conclusion of the competition Saturday night, there will be an adoption via live auction. All competing mustangs will participate in this auction, where approved bidders are able to bid for a chance to take them home. Only approved bidders are able to participate in the auction. 

You must apply to bid on site - the Wild Horse and Burro staff will be onsite handing out blank applications for those who are interested in bidding. They will also review, approve, and assign bidder numbers onsite. 

There is so much to do! Our event is during the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo which is the perfect time to attend. There will be a carnival, livestock events, rodeo entertainment, and much more!

Yes, of course! There are opportunities throughout the weekend called “Meet the Mustangs”, where we invite the spectators to hang out and get to know the competitors and their mustang partners.
